‘I’m interested in the relationship we have with ourselves, to our bodies and senses and how that influences the experience of our life.
We generally mistake ourselves for matter. We are in fact much more movement than we are matter. We have a material aspect, but what makes us alive is the dimension of movement which can be perceived in the body, more specifically in the fascia.
Fascia is the vehicle through which we live, a complex sensory organ and communication system, through which we experience and act out life. In all challenges and joys of life this awareness is vital. We know that fascia is of primordial importance for health and self-regulation of the body and we know that fascia is important in whether one can live close to one’s own experience and extract deep meaning for their lives. We can tangiably tap into our potential working deeply in the fascia, we come into motion, become more adaptable and transform naturally from within’

what to expect from a fasciatherapy session – sensing Being
Fasciatherapy DBM is a form of manual therapy which reaches the being of a person on a profound somatic level through a specific mode of touch. The relationship of the client to her/his own perception is developed as the fascia releases and optimises its tone into structural balance. Because the fascia is considered the ‘organ of innerness’, a sensory organ in its globality, a sense of solidity of self can now nourish personal autonomy and enrich all competences. The person experiences improved health and personal, social and psycho-emotional wellbeing. In case of somatic or psycho-somatic imbalances Fasciatherapy DBM mobilizes both the organic and psychological vital resources. During treatment Marcello addresses the tissue and accompanies the self-regulating forces slowly and respectfully, without manipulating. It is a very gentle and profound technique.
